Spiked Blood Orange and Mint Hot Fudge Sauce

I shot a lot of recipes over the course of an afternoon a couple of weeks ago — almost all using similar ingredients and highlighting a current obsession with blood orange and bitters. This one is just a simple sundae topping, with a twist. Homemade cashew cream can be substituted for store-bought soy creamer for those who keep it on hand and want to avoid soy; or for non-vegans, substitute heavy cream (though you really wouldn't know the version made with soy creamer is vegan).

For a refreshing treat, I drizzled my spiked sauce over blood orange sorbet that you can find at most grocers.
