For me, my kitchen is like this Bohemian place. It's a place where I can be free to experiment. In my kitchen, I make my own rules. You might find Boeuf à la Bourguignonne but you won't find any beef. You'll definitely find homemade ice cream but you won't find any dairy milk or cream. You also won't find butter, eggs, poultry or pork. I follow a pure vegetarian diet and the only thing that each dish I make in my kitchen conforms to is this unconventional way of eating.
These are my adventures in creating luscious pure vegetarian (vegan) dishes, while striving to maintain the high standards food lovers have come to expect from traditional cuisine. It's a place for me to share culinary tips, recipes, and amazing new products and restaurants I discover along the way. I'd like show the world that following a pure veg diet doesn't have to be ultra restrictive or extremely difficult by offering simple ways to prepare beautiful meals at home; and prove that no matter what anybody tells you, a diet sans animal protein does not equal a diet sans visual appeal or flavor (and it may just be the healthiest possible way of eating).
I hope you'll follow along with me as I continue experimenting and discovering, and I hope that even hardcore omnivores will give at least one recipe or meal a try; even if it's just dessert.
